Maxstar® 150 STH Best of Class - provides maximum portability and performance in the most compact TIG/Stick package in the industry. Dependability and performance all in one machine. When the job demands greater control the STH provides HF start for non-contact TIG arc starts, and built-in pulsing allowing selection of four fixed pulse frequencies.

Features:

Portable in the shop or at the job site - at 13.7 lb the shoulder strap allows the operator to easily move from location to location.
Auto-Line™ technology circuitry automatically connects to 115 - 230 VAC, single-phase power without removing the cover to relink the power source.
Low OCV Stick reducs open-circuit voltage (OCV) to 12 - 16VDC when machine is not in use.
Adaptive Hot Start™ automatically increases output amperage at the start of a weld should the start require it and prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion.
Single Amperage Range allows operator to accurately set amperage on both 115 V or 230 V primary power.
Full function remote control allows operator to crater out when doing critical work. (6 pin foot or finger tip control available.)
Lift-Arc™ start provides TIG arc starting without use of high frequency
Built-in gas solenoid eliminates the need for bulky torch with a gas valve.
Thermal overload protrection with indicator lights helps prevent machine damage if the duty cycle is exceeded or airflow is blocked
Built-in pulsing - select from four fixed-pulse frequencies (STH model only)
Fan-On-Demand™ operates only when needed reducing noise, power consumption, and the amount of airborne contaminants pulled through the machine.
Wind Tunnel Technology™ - Internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, debris... greatly improving reliability.
LVC™ Line Voltage Compensation - Keeps output of the power source constant regardless of fluctuation in input power ± 10%.

Auto-Line™ Automatically "links" the machine to a broad range of primary single- and three-phase, 50 and 60 Hz input voltages without manually linking. Also compensates for voltage spikes and drops within the entire range. Delivering consistent output - All done without removing the covers to relink.
